W Squared Diamond is proud to support End of Grade (EOG) tests at a Dudley Shoals Elementary School 

June 2, 2004

In the state of North Carolina, students in grades 3 through 8 are required pass math and reading EOGs.  Dudley Shoals Elementary School’s 5^th grade teachers took a unique approach in preparing their students for these tests.  The “Conquering the EOGs” program treated the test as an enemy that must be conquered through learning.  Students and parents participated in “top secret” meetings to create and implement their plan of attack to defeat the “enemy” test.  As additional motivation, shirts were provided for students to wear on test days.  The students found the program highly motivational and enjoyable.       

 On May 20^th the students completed the final test.  We were pleased to learn that all 5^th graders passed.
